Now, the Bethel Chamber of Commerce is announcing that any gift cards for Julliano's Restaurant will be honored for the full amount at Agora of Brookfield.

Chef Julio Cevallos, a Bethel resident who owned Julliano's, is now at Agora of Brookfield, located at 834 Federal Road, Brookfield.

When it closed, the owners of Julliano's thanked its customers and said the decision to close was very hard and unfortunate.

There were "a few reason not in our control that forced us to close Julliano's," the owners said on Facebook. "We apologize and want to thank you all again."

Before opening Julliano's, Cevallos had been the head chef at Rizzuto's Wood-Fired Kitchen & Bar on Stony Hill Road in Bethel for 11 years.
