The Danbury Fair Mall is one of 10 malls across the country to host Santa HQ this year, starting on Wednesday, Nov. 5, and running until Christmas Eve.
Santa HQ allows visitors to see modern versions of holiday chestnuts. Kids can use 'Elf-Ray Vision' to take a peek inside Santa's Observatory, take a holiday-themed selfie in Santa's Workshop and test their luck with the 'Naughty O'Nice Meter.' The event concludes with a light show and a chance for the whole family to take a group photo.
For parents who prefer an old-fashioned approach, the Fair Mall also offers the chance for little ones to take a picture with Santa beginning on Nov. 5.
Santa HQ is located at the mall's center court and will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Sundays until Dec. 11. Hours expand for the holiday rush on Dec. 12 through Dec. 23, are from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. all week. The event will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, and runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
More details on the mall's holiday plans and event pricing are available at online.
