New ShopRite Set To Open Doors In August In Danbury

DANBURY – A new 63,000-square-foot ShopRite store is set to open on Padanaram Road on Wednesday, Aug. 3, according to newstimes.com.

The grand opening of the store is scheduled for 8:30 to 9 a.m. The store’s regular hours are to be 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., according to newstimes.com.

The store replaces an A&P Super Foodmart, which closed its Danbury location last fall, according to newstimes.com. 

The new grocery store is still hiring for all positions, the story said.

In addition to the grocery operation, the store will be home to a Chase Bank, according to newstimes.com.
