Stamford's Frontier Reports No Major Service Interruptions From Storm

STAMFORD, CONN. — Frontier Communications in Stamford announced that its network is completely operational with no widespread interruptions in its phone cable and internet service throughout Fairfield County after the snowstorm.

The company is using battery and generator power to continue providing service to customers in affected areas.

“We are very pleased to share that our network is up and running and our customers should be able to make phone calls, access the Internet, and enjoy Frontier TV,” Paul Quick, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Frontier’s Connecticut operations, said in a statement.

“There may be downed poles, cables, etc., that will impact services in isolated areas, but overall, our network is robust and functioning well.”

“We’re continuing to monitor weather reports and staying in contact with local emergency personnel so we can move quickly to assess and remedy storm damage to our outside plant that may be affecting specific customers’ service.”

Frontier reminds customers to stay away from any downed cables or power lines and report them to your local municipality.
