DANBURY, Conn. -- Whole Foods Market in Danbury will host its inaugural Farmstand Fishery event, featuring specials on locally sourced fish and fresh seafood.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 11 at Whole Foods Market, 5C Sugar Hollow Rd., Danbury, Conn.

The store will serve up special eats such as freshly-shucked oysters, in-house made lobster rolls and clams locally sourced from Barnegat Light, N.J. Sales and specials throughout the day will include fresh wild king salmon fillet for $11.99/lb. (from $26.99); 50 pack local clams for $14.99 (from $22.99); and oyster shucking for $1 each.
