Blues & BBQ In Norwalk Benefits Person-To-Person Scholarships

NORWALK, Conn. – A Blues and BBQ event to benefit the to benefit the Person-to-Person Scholarship program will be held at the Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 7 to 11 p.m.

The Person-to-Person Scholarship Program aims to help high school graduates and college students with financial needs to pay for college.

The evening will feature music by the Erik Deutsch Trio, cocktails, dinner and dancing to the music of Booga Sugar.

The Stepping Stones Museum for Children is located on 303 West Ave.

Person-to-Person is a Darien-based charity organization dedicated to various causes such as education.

The Person-to-Person Scholarship Program provides financial assistance for high school graduates from low-income households who are applying to, or are already enrolled in college. Students with financial need residing in Norwalk, Stamford and the surrounding towns receive primary consideration, according to Person-to-Person’s website
