“We're excited to be working with the Elmwood Hall Senior Center in offering this program to local residents," said Brigid Guertin, Executive Director of museum and Danbury City Historian. "Our first session will involve collecting and sharing information, stories and remembrances related to 1950's Danbury."

The series begins June 15 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and will involve sharing and collecting stories, remembrances and information related to Danbury in the 1950s. Events will take place on the third Monday of each month.

Activities slated for the series include family history research assistance, oral history projects, roundtable discussions, and assistance with identifying unmarked archive photos. For the series, the museum has partnered with the city's Department of Elderly Services.

Walk-ins are welcome but advance registration is recommended. All programs are free. Tea and coffee will be served.
