Danbury Museum Hosts Wine With Friends And Exhibit Preview

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Museum & Historical Society will host a Wine with Friends exhibit preview of the exhibit "Quintessential Quilts: Piecing Together Danbury History.”

The tasting is also hosted by Stew Leonard's Wines. The exhibit's Wine with Friends tasking fundraiser runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Danbury Museum Historical Society. 

"The evening will feature a savory selection of wines that are perfect for spring and early summer entertaining and guests will also get a chance to preview the Danbury Museum's upcoming exhibit, 'Quintessential Quilts: Piecing Together Danbury History' before its official opening on June 28," a press release said. 

“We're excited to partner with Stew Leonard's Wines, gather with friends and spotlight the quilts in our collection,” said Brigid Guertin, executive director of the Danbury Museum & Historical Society. “Each of these beautiful quilts tells a poignant story about Danbury’s people and its past and we're looking forward to sharing them with the public.”

Tickets for the event are $25 and 100 percent of ticket sales benefit the Danbury Museum & Historical Society. Tickets are available for sale at the Danbury Museum and at Stew Leonard’s Wines at 2 Nabby Road Danbury.
