DANBURY, Conn. – All About Kids Pediatric Dentistry, Danbury's Promise for Children Partnership and the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce are joining forces to host a special Business After Business event Wednesday.
The networking event will be from 5-7 p.m. at the recently opened All About Kids facility.
“We want the business community to understand the work our Partnership is doing to prepare children for success in school, and to help prepare Danbury’s children for success in the workforce,” Caroline LaFleur, director of Danbury’s Promise for Children Partnership, said in a press release. “All About Kids wants to introduce their great pediatric dental facility to their neighbors in the downtown community. It’s a perfect match.”
The former empty car dealership at West and New streets is now a state-of-the art and playful environment for pediatric dentistry.
“It’s a far cry from the dental offices most of us knew as kids, creating a ‘totally cool and fun environment’ to put children at ease, and maybe even get them a little excited about having their teeth taken care of,” chamber officials said in a press release.
Brightly colored murals and representations of friendly dogs, seagulls, and other animals are part of the décor at All About Kids.
“Danbury has proven to be a warm and inviting place and All About Kids Pediatric Dentistry is happy to become an integral part of the community,” George Presto, outreach coordinator for All About Kids, said in a press release.
Food, beer, wine, music and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be part of the Business After Business event.
The cost for chamber members is $10; non-member admission is $15.
All About Kids is at 47 West St., downtown Danbury.
