Due to road closures for the event, drivers are urged to use alternate routes as much as possible, according to a press release. Spectators can take advantage of a free shuttle in front of Carvel at the North Street Shopping Center. The shuttle will operate in a loop to and from Candlewood Lake park.
The annual fireworks at the Danbury Fair Mall will be July 2.
Fireworks kick off at dusk and will be followed by two concerts Fast Ricky (6-8 p.m.) and The Wild Ones (8-10 p.m.), according to a press release.
Other highlights at the event will include inflatables for the kids to enjoy and a food and beer tent, according to a press release.
