Danbury Reschedules Fireworks At Candlewood Lake For This Weekend

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Volunteer Fire Department and Candlewood Lake Authority have rescheduled their postponed Independence Day fireworks display for Saturday, Aug. 22.

The rain date is Sunday, Aug. 23.

“Thank you to the Danbury Volunteer Fire Department for working hard to get us our third chance at enjoying a great night on Candlewood Lake,” the Candlewood Lake Authority wrote on its Facebook page. ”Let’s all get together August 22nd to wish America a belated Happy Birthday!”
