For the younger set and those who like the great indoors, the Danbury Fair Mall will host trick-or-treating from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday. The mall reminds families that it is for kids 12 and younger. Treats will be available at participating stores will supplies last. No masks!
Those who aren't afraid of the dark will head out into Danbury's many neighborhoods in the quest for candy. One popular street is Deer Hill Avenue -- with City Hall at one end and Tarrywile Park at the other. Crowds numbering in the thousands are known to turn out.

If you and your kids haven't had your fill of Halloween fun by the end of the night, Danbury residents can head to Halloween on the Green. The event is from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, on the CityCenter Green on Ives Street.
A children's costume parade will be held at 3:30 p.m. on the Green with prizes for most original, scariest, cutest and funniest costume. The event, sponsored by CityCenter Danbury, Danbury Jaycees and Kiwanis of Danbury, is free.
