Accessible Art is a yearlong, multisite program intended to make the work of visual artists accessible to new audiences by increasing exposure through area venues who share in the creative and economic values of working together.
Successfully building the Accessible Arts series with new venues and its “In the Windows” program, the Cultural Alliance presents the works of artists Tiffany Johnson (Danbury), Honorah O'Neill (Bethel) Lisa M. Teddy (Brookfield) and Tara Tomaselli (Newtown).
“The Alliance is honored to have represented so many artists in so many venues for another year. We can only look forward to bigger and better in 2015,” said Lisa Scails, executive director of the Cultural Alliance.

Tiffany Johnson, Drawings and Oils Danbury City Hall, 155 Deer Hill Ave. 203-797-4511 Johnson has an attraction to the history, heritage and setting of Weir Farm. Johnson is the current art instructor at the YMCA ESCAPE to the Arts program in Danbury. Honorah O'Neill, Sculpture and Paintings CityCenter Danbury, 186 Main St. 203-792-1711 O'Neill loves all things real, fantastical, mythical, cuddly, lost or adopted. She is an avid patron of animal and animal rights charities, including Peace to All Creatures, EFA/Etsy for Animals: Artists Helping Animals, and the Friends of Danbury Animal Control. She is the voice behind the Rainy Day Paperback Exchange in Bethel. Lisa M. Teddy, Photography and Painting Portofino Restaurant & Wine Bar, 213 Greenwood Ave, Bethel 203-797-8131 With Natural Bliss, Teddy captures nature in her photography, watercolors, artisan mixable oils and other painting mediums. Her recent work is in nature studies with a particular interest in birds. Her career has been in architectural design, which informs her hope that "the public enjoys the view." Tara Tomaselli, Photography Molten Java, 213 Greenwood Ave., Bethel 203-739-0313 For Tomaselli, the objects and scenery that represent coastal New England are an inspiration. "From seashells to seascapes, buoys to boats, and a variety of weathered architecture, I am drawn to the vibrant colors and captivating greys. It is through photography that I am able to share my interpretation of beauty in nature."
