Danbury's Ives Concert Park Offers Deal On Water At Weekend Events

DANBURY, Conn. -- Music lovers headed to Friday night's Summerland Tour at the Ives Concert Park in Danbury will find it less expensive to stay hydrated in the heat.

After hearing concerns about the high temperatures from a concertgoer, the Ives Concert Park will sell cold bottled water at two-for-the-price-of-one, it announced on its Facebook page. The same deal will be offered Saturday night. 

"A hydrated music lover is a happy music lover," it said.

Tickets will be available at the gate for the Summerland Tour of alternative guitars starring Everclear, Live, Filter and Sponge. Tickets are $35 for a reserved seat or $20 for the lawn. The gates open at  6 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show. Only cash will be accepted at the gate. 

Brandi Carlile with Jamestown Revival will play Saturday. Tickets are $39.50 for a reserved seat or $25 for the lawn. The gates open at 6:30 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show.
