Shop for creations from Connecticut’s finest artisans while supporting Friends of Tarrywile Park, a private, volunteer-run nonprofit supporting the preservation and enhancement of more than 700 bucolic acres of open space. Unique gift ideas for the Easter basket, someone special or even a treat for shoppers will be displayed throughout the rooms of Danbury's prized Victorian mansion, the centerpiece of Tarrywile Park.

A $5 donation at the door includes a complimentary Friends of Tarrywile tote bag to carry home treasures. This year, returning artisans include Rabbit Hill Collectibles with hand painted wooden eggs by Lisa Defeo and chalkware Easter rabbits by Kathleen McDonald. Also featured will be primitive folk art by Old Green Road, Goatboy Soaps, handmade jewelry by Gemini Dream, bath products by Sensational Scrubs and hand-turned wood pens by George Toro.

Handmade greeting cards, birdbaths, wind chimes, savory herb blends, spring wreaths, centerpieces and much more round out the fair's offerings. Joan Pollak Art and her work of hand painted driftwood animals also will be available.

Artist Gillian Grozier of Casspi Design will talk at 1:30 p.m. about the inspiration for her original illustrations.

Light refreshments will be available from My Chef to Go of Brookfield.
