Danbury's Wcsu Mascot Chuck Leads Mini-Mudder Event

DANBURY, Conn. – Chuck, the mascot of the Western Connecticut State University Colonials, will host the annual Mini-Mudder event Sunday, April 19 at the university.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. in the lobby of the Westside Athletic Complex (stadium building) until 8 a.m. The first heat will start at 8 a.m. on the Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Ext., Danbury. Additional heats will start every 15 minutes.

The event will not be timed and will be rain or shine. The event begins and ends on the turf field of the athletic complex and will include 16 physical challenges in a 2-mile course. Water stations will be available along the course.

All participants must be at least 12; participants between the ages of 12-17 must have written parental consent. Participants between the ages of 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the course.

Pre-registration is $15 per person before April 10 and $20 after then; the event is free for WCSU students. “Got Mud?” T-shirts will be available for $15 on event day. Shirt pre-orders are available, and payment must be included with registration.
