Some of the upcoming events this week include:

  • The Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition will be from 6-8 p.m. in the Art Gallery of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the WCSU Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Ext. The exhibition will be on display from noon-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through Monday, April 13.   • The Henry Barnard Distinguished Student Awards Banquet will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry St., Plantsville. For reservations, send an email to raimondit@ct.edu.

  • A guest artist recital will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Veronica Hagman Concert Hall of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the university’s Westside campus. The concert is free, but donations are accepted.
