Greenwich Wine + Food Festival Is A Foodie's Dreamfest

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A host of hungry people filled the Grand Testing Tent for the Fifth Annual Greenwich WINE + FOOD Festival on Saturday, Sept. 26, where a smörgåsbord of Westchester and Fairfield County vendors showcased their wares.

Among them were: Beekeeper Tim Cerniglia Jr. of Greenwich-based BeKind Farms; Bridgeport's Andrea Greene of Connecticut Cookie Company; Greenwich-based Victoria Amory of Victoria Amory & Co.; Westport's Dana Noorily of The Granola Bar; and Fairfield-based Marissa Latshaw of All Souped Up, who got to do some "wine-ing and souping" with TV personality Kathie Lee Gifford.

The Festival, held Sept. 23 to 26, attracted 6,000 people and more than 150 food and beverage vendors.

Proceeds from the event benefited Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and the Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation Scholarship Fund.
