DANBURY, Conn. – The Healing Hearts Center for Grief & Loss in Danbury is starting a new support group for adults who are dealing with the death of a spouse.

“Finding Your New Normal: Life After Loss of a Spouse” will meet two times a month, during the daytime, at the Regional Hospice and Home Care Center for Comfort Care & Healing, according to a news release.

“At Healing Hearts, we offer a place for emotional healing, where people no matter their age can meet others who have experienced similar loss in a welcoming environment,” Joanna DeNicola, a licensed clinical social worker and Healing Hearts program manager, said in a news release. “As you move along your journey of hope and healing, being with others who are experiencing what you are can provide comfort and support.”

Healing Hearts offers other types of support groups for adults and children dealing with the loss of a loved one.
