Historian Spins Tales Of Life In Danbury During World War II

DANBURY, Conn. -- The final program commemorating the 70th anniversary of World War II, "The Home Front," will be held at the Danbury Library on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m.

Brigid Guertin, executive director of the Danbury Museum and City of Danbury historian, will provide attendees with insights about what it was like in Danbury during WWII. 

She’ll start with people’s experiences from the national home front perspective and narrow it down to the local Danburian experience. She’ll provide music and a few short film clips, along with images of Danbury city streets.
