Tickets Almost Gone for Syracuse-Bound Bus

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – This weekend the Dobbs Ferry High School football team will be heading up to the Syracuse University Carrier Dome to play for the New York State Class C football championship.

The village has one bus remaining to shuttle local fans to the game. The only bus left to Syracuse will leave the high school on Saturday at noon as the Sunday morning bus is sold out. Tickets for the Saturday bus are $45 per seat and will head back to Dobbs Ferry following the game.

“On behalf of the board, go Eagles,” said Dobbs Ferry Mayor Hartley Connett.  “We want to wish all the players, coaches, cheerleaders, ball boys, water boys the best of luck.  The village is so very proud of you.”

To reserve a seat please email the Dobbs Ferry Touchdown Club at dftouchdownclub@gmail.com or call Arlene Riley at 914-330-7936.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.  There will be no exceptions.

Hotel rooms may be hard to come by at this point, but Connett offered some advice to fans looking to make the trip.

“I think the Sheraton may have some rooms because one team had to cancel their reservations so something may have opened up there,” he said.
