Gloucester County Man Who Killed Victim With Van Told Police He Planned On Doing So: Report

A 68-year-old man from Gloucester County has been charged with murder after running over a pedestrian after an earlier fight with his van, killing him, NJ Advance Media reported.

Giovanni Esposito, of Paulsboro, had previously hit the victim with his van, and told authorities he intended on killing him the next time he saw him, the outlet said citing an affidavit.

He did just that around 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 in Paulsboro, when he struck the victim with his van for the second time, NJ.com says.

Esposito was being held in Salem County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing.
