Ridgefield Theater Barn's One-Act Series Returns Friday

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Theater Barn is bringing back its one-act series starting Friday, Jan. 24.

"One-Acts 2014" is set to run on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., from Friday, Jan. 24, to Feb. 8 at the Ridgefield Theatre Barn at 37 Halpin Lane in Ridgefield.

While in years past the one act plays have featured specific playwrights or themes, the 2014 series will feature eight comedic works written from several different playwrights. 

The shows have adult themes and are recommended for mature audiences. The plays will be "She's Fabulous" written by Jack Neary and directed by Paulette Layton; "Road Kill" written by Carol Mark and directed by Cheryl Ann Boyd; "Reflexology" written by Pat O'Connor and directed by Stefanie Woerdeman; "Starlight Ballroom" written by Jim Gordon and directed by Marla Manning; "Pillow" playwright unknown, directed by David Bass; "Eclipse" written by Michael Edan and directed by Myles Gansfried; "Take One for the Team" written and directed by Carol Mark; and "Forgiveness" written by Albi Gorn and directed by Mel Power.

Tickets are $25 and are available at the Ridgefield Theater Barn website.
