The fifth annual Clancy Relocation and Logistics Golf Classic, to be held at the Ridgewood Country Club, is nearly sold out.

About 140 golfers will participate in a day of the game, followed by dinner, cocktails, an auction, and a raffle.

“We are so thankful for the dedication of our golf committee--their support through golf brings awareness, advocacy and funds for our nonprofit hospice services and palliative care,” Cynthia E. Roy, president and CEO of the Regional Hospice and Home Care Center, said in a press release.

All funds will benefit the hospice, which provides private rooms.

Billy Craig, of Craig’s Jewelers in Ridgefield, is the new chairman of the event’s planning committee. The former chairman was Larry Riefberg of Riefberg, Smart, Donohue & NeJame

“I have very big shoes to fill this year as this is a new committee for me to chair. Larry has done a tremendous job over the past two years,” Craig said in a press release.

“Regional Hospice is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. The new Center will help over 1,000 patients from children to the elderly. We still need to help fundraise for all of Regional Hospice’s program needs.”

George Mulvaney of Mulvaney Mechanical and Mark Paladino of Colonial Ford are serving as co-chairmen of the golf committee.

Jerry Benziger, Fil Cerminara, Jeff Culbertson, Brian Crotty, Danielle Durgy, Robin Ely, Jeffery Jowdy, Dave LaJoie, Tom McCarthy, MaryBeth Prunty, Larry Riefberg, Meg Riefberg, and Bill Sabatini are serving as members of the planning committee.
