'Take a Tee' Event To Benefit Danbury Regional Hospice And Home Care

DANBURY, Conn. — Whether or not you can make it to Regional Hospice and Home Care’s 5th Annual Clancy Relocation and Logistics Golf Classic Aug. 24 at the Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury, you still can offer support of the hospice’s work through its “Take a Tee” program.

"Regional Hospice and Home Care does an exceptional job caring for our community members, families and friends at a very difficult time in one’s life,” said Billy Craig of Craig’s Jewelers in Ridgefield, who is chairing the golf classic for the first time this year, in a press release.

For a $200 donation, individuals or companies can “Take a Tee.” Tee signs can be made with either a company name or customized tribute in memory or honor of a loved one and will be placed throughout the course for all players to see during the golf event.

The money raised from the golf event directly supports patient care at Regional Hospice and Home Care, according to a press release.

Sponsorship opportunities available for the event range from tee signs for $200 and hole signs for $500 (which includes a half-page program ad) to a $2,500 beverage cart sponsorship and a $6,000 golf ball sponsorship, with many options in between. For more information, please contact Felicia Saraceno, special events manager, at (203) 702-7435 or fsaraceno@regionalhospicect.org or go to regionalhospicect.org/events.
