Taste Of Greater Danbury Celebrates 30 Years

DANBURY, Conn. -- Taste of Greater Danbury will celebrate 30 years of food, music, and fun this September.

This year’s Taste of Greater Danbury will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10 from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 11 from noon to 7 p.m. on the CityCenter Green at Ives Street.

Hosted by CityCenter Danbury, the city's official close to summer will feature food trucks, beer on site, local businesses like Gallucci’s, Romy’s BBQ, Two Steps Downtown Grille, and The Ice Cream Guy, and on stage, recording artists Everclear. Admission is free.

Everclear last year released a ninth-album titled “Black is the New Black.” The band will perform on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

For the kids, Ives Street will feature bouncy inflatables, curious critters, and other playful experiences.
