And yes, it's past his usual bedtime of 8 p.m. -- that's when the show starts -- but he told Daily Voice he is able to manage his time well and always gets his schoolwork done.
This is the elementary school student's first show at The Palace, and he is loving it. He admitted he's always wanted to be an actor -- he's been acting since the third grade -- and is excited about playing Tiny Tim.
Past roles include Lumiere in "Beauty and the Beast," Jack in "Into the Woods" and Aladdin in "Aladdin" at Star 2B Productions in Hopewell, N.Y.
His dream is to see his name up in lights.
"What's funny about Christopher is he is very quiet and shy ... except when it comes to performing," said his mom, Maria Basulto. "He lights up and is so confident in himself because he's doing what he loves."
“Scrooge: The Musical" closely follows the plot of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," where the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound redemption and learns the true meaning of Christmas during the course of a Christmas Eve.
Others in the cast hail from Norwalk, Danbury, New Milford, Bethel, Newtown, Wilton, New Fairfield, and Brewster, N.Y., among other locales.
