Voice Actor Alan Sklar Performs Dramatic Reading At Ridgefield Library

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Well-known voice actor Alan Sklar will share a reading of "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber" by Ernest Hemingway at 7 p.m. Feb. 18.

The story was first published in 1936 in Cosmopolitan Magazine and is considered one of Hemingway’s best achievements.

Sklar has been a voice actor for more than 20 years. He has narrated more than 200 audio books and is regularly found acting in commercials.
