RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Playhouse is hosting a night of reggae with The Wailers.

The group is set to play at 8 p.m. Sunday, May 18, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the 1984 release of its album "Legend." To celebrate, the band will play the album in its entirety. It features the band's biggest hits of all time, including “I Shot The Sheriff,” “Redemption Song” and “Jamming.”

"Bob Marley and The Wailers began their legendary Jamaican music career in 1969 and are now synonymous with the sound, known in virtually every corner of the globe," representatives said. "Original member Bob Marley was celebrated as 'The Artist of the 20th Century,' along with his vocal partners Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh, alongside the groundbreaking rhythm section of the Barrett brothers, which featured Carlton on drums and Aston 'Family Man' on bass."

The performance is underwritten by The Mango Tree and partially underwritten by Campari America. It is part of the Xfinity Rock Series.

Tickets are $50 at the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse, at 203-438-5795 or online at The Ridgefield Playhouse website .
