Wcsu In Danbury Hosting Mini-Mudder

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Western Connecticut State University Recreation Office and the Avielle Foundation will host the fourth annual Chuck’s Mini-Mudder on Sunday, April 24, at the university's Westside Campus.

The event will include 20 physical challenges over the course of two miles, many of which are covered in mud.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. on the day of the event in the lobby of the Westside Athletic Complex.

The first heat will start at 8 a.m. Additional heats will be run every 15 minutes.

The event, which will begin and end on the turf field of the athletic complex, will not be timed.

Water stations will be available along the course.

General registration is $25 before April 21, and $35 afterwards. WCSU students can register for free. Team discounts are also available.

Participants must be age 12 or older.

The event will be held rain or shine.
