Wcsu Music Camps Offering Free July Concerts In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. – Western Connecticut State University’s summer music camp attendees will showcase their talents at two more free concerts during July.

All concerts will be held at Ives Concert Hall in White Hall on the WCSU Midtown campus, 181 White St.

Concert Schedule:

Friday, July 25 at 7 p.m. – Jazz Saturday, July 26 at noon – Drum ensemble, concert bands, jazz ensembles

The second weeklong program in the series, summer band, runs from July 20 to July 26, and is designed for band instrumentalists. Camps include ensemble practice sessions during the day, camp choir, outdoor sports, movies and faculty member performances.

Students can commute to campus each day or reside in one of the university residence halls.
