Sponsored by Fairfield Magazine and benefitting Operation Hope, the event will highlight more than two dozen restaurants and businesses — from craft beer and comfort foods to fine cuisine — at Brooklawn Country Club from noon to 4 p.m.

“Good things happen when people connect over good food,” said publisher Geoffrey Morris of TownVibe, the company that owns the magazine.

And WinterFest will give you a reason to put down your fork and knife from time to time.

The event will feature a live DJ and a silent dance floor — the latest craze in which people cut a rug to whatever’s queued up on their headphones.

In addition, Brooklawn’s four-lane bowling alley will be set up for Rock N’ Bowl with black lights and music.

Plus, there is A VIP lounge sponsored by Maplewood Senior Living, comedians from Fairfield Comedy Club and a special young kids’ area with crafts and face painting.

General admission is $50 and includes food, drink and all entertainment. VIP admission is $100 and offers access to the VIP lounge with unlimited food and drink. Guests under 21 are $20 and children under 10 are free.

Featured restaurants include Artisan, Hub & Spoke, SHU Fairfield and Rive Bistro. For a complete list of restaurants participating go to townvibe.com.
