Deborah and Bryan Hocking started dating when they were in high school, and started writing letters to each other once Bryan was sent to Vietnam, according to Fox 61. Deborah saved all the letters, but while preparing for a move, a box containing the letters ended up being donated to Savers, Fox 61 reported.

The Brookfield store found the letters in the box, and tracked the couple down to return them, Fox 61 said. The Hockings told Fox 61 that the letters to each other helped bring them closer together while they were separated by war, and having them returned was a shock.
