Gabriele's Italian Steakhouse, Greenwich
What Makes It A Cut Above: The warm woods and hand-carved bar, plus four fireplaces, makes this a place to linger. Steaks are prime, aged beef; pasta is homemade and served to order. Fishes are flown in from Hawaii. Francesco DiPietro Gabriele's Italian Steakhouse manager chalks up the restaurant's popularity to its "quality of the food, the ambiance, our chefs, our excellent staff, our excellent GM, all of the above."
"We give our customers a unique experience. Our staff is well-trained. Our ambiance is wonderful and we are located in the heart of Greenwich," he continued.
DiPietro also cited a "loyal clientele" for whom management will do everything.
The family restaurant is owned by Danny Gabriele, son of founder Luca Gabriele. Sadly, Luca passed away Dec. 8, 2016.
