Danbury Cleans Up, Piles Up Snow After Storm

DANBURY, Conn. -- It wasn't a blizzard, but the overnight storm dumped about a half-foot of snow on Danbury early Tuesday.

Despite the chilly temperatures in the 20s, with wind chills much closer to zero, a group of neighbors on one downtown Danbury street banded together to dig out a number of houses, driveways, cars and sidewalks. 

Armed with shovels and snowblowers, residents were sending the white stuff flying on Tuesday afternoon. The powdery snow was easy and light to clear.
