Danbury Museum Sponsors Pre-Parade Open House

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Museum and Historical Society will offer an early-morning open house event for those who are waiting for the Memorial Day parade to begin on Monday.

Visit the John & Mary Rider House, The Dodd Hat Shop, The Marian Anderson Studio and The One-Room Brick Schoolhouse, and take a walk through these historic buildings, where you'll learn more about local history and your hometown museum.

This open house is free and open to all from 8 a.m.-9:30 p.m. On Saturdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. full, guided tours are available.
