All are invited to join in this event to celebrate St. Francis and the animals among us. Bring your pets of any type, as long as they are leashed or crated, for blessings. The Rev. Paul Bryant-Smith, pastor, will officiate.

In addition to community members and their pets, the event will feature special guests from the Danbury Police Department canine unit, the Danbury Animal Welfare Society (DAWS), and Pied Piper Pony Rides and Petting Zoo. An offering will be taken to benefit DAWS.

This is the first Blessing of the Animals to be held at King Street in what is hoped will become an annual event.
