DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury author Robert Taylor has released a new children's fantasy novel, "The Adventures of BooBear the Bountiful."

The main character, BooBear, is a honey fly with the task of saving his world from creatures looking to destroy it for their personal gain.

Fellow author Doris Henderson called "The Adventures of BooBear the Bountiful" a "novel of unusual grace and style, a reading experience any child will want to return to over and over for its imaginative details, its characters, its humor.”

The book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Taylor has previously published two books of poetry: “Fallen Leaves” and “Fallen Arches and Other Casualties.” He conducted his graduate studies in English literature at Queens College and has taught English for 30 years.
