Enjoy A Holiday Tea At Danbury's Historic Rider House

DANBURY, Conn. – The Danbury Historical Society is hosting holiday tea at the Rider House from Thursday, Dec. 4, through Sunday, Dec. 7, with seatings at noon each day.

Participants will relax and enjoy sipping a cup of tea while listening to soothing music and chatting with museum staff about Victorian tea traditions, customs and clothing. 

The tea is sponsored by Simpson & Vail and includes St. Nick’s, Ceylon Pettiagalla Estate, Mrs. Grey’s Blend, Winter Wonderland Rooibos and Goddess of Mercy Oolong.

The cost is $25 per person and includes tea, entertainment, and an assortment of sandwiches, savories and sweets.
