The friends are accepting books, DVDs and CDs in a Drop-off Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at 30 Main St. Volunteers at the side entrance of the building will help unload cars. Donations will help support library programs and services.
"These donated books are used for our annual book sale and our occasional book sales in the library," representatives said. "The money collected is used to support the needs and missions of the Danbury Library."
The drive does not accept the following:
- Encyclopedias
- VHS videotapes
- Reader's Digest condensed books,
- Medical or business books older than five years,
- Textbooks older than three years,
- Computer books older than two years,
- Textbooks with writing, highlighting, or underlining,
- Magazines
- Badly damaged books.
