Healing Hearts Offers Grief Support Groups For Danburys Young People

DANBURY, Conn. – The Healing Hearts Center for Grief & Loss in Danbury is starting two new support groups for children and younger adults.

The first group will be for adults 18 to 26 who have lost someone close to them through death.

The second group will be for children ages 6 to 13 who have lost a close extended family member such as a grandparent.

“At Healing Hearts, we offer a place for emotional healing, where people no matter their age can meet others who have experienced similar loss in a welcoming environment,” Joanna DeNicola, Healing Hearts program manager and a licensed clinical social worker, said in a press release.

“As you move along your journey of hope and healing, being with others who are experiencing what you are can provide comfort and support.”

The Healing Hearts Center has a number of additional grief support groups for adults and children.
