Sink will bring to NNI decades of experience in community service, working with families and children and currently with the economically diverse congregants of the Unitarian Universality Congregation on Forest Street in Stamford.

She was named minister of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation on Forest Street in Stamford 2012. The ministry was a life shift after a successful career of nearly 30 years in public and private clinical psychology practice in Boston and Fairfield County.

Sink also sits on the board of the UU Ministry for Earth and is a member of the UU Allies for Racial Equity.

"The work of NNI aligns with my deeply held value of the inherent worth and dignity of every person by making attractive, secure and community-minded housing affordable for all of our Stamford and Fairfield County citizens, not just those with great means," said Sink.

Sink received a bachelor's from University of North Carolina Greensboro, a doctorate from Florida State University, and a master's from Yale Divinity School. She resides with her family in Wilton.

Founded in 1967 by the late Pat Marshall and other Stamford community, New Neighborhoods has been at the forefront of affordable housing for the city’s – and now the county’s - working men and women, families and low and moderate income seniors, and spearheaded community revitalization efforts for almost five decades. It has developed and preserved more than 600 units of affordable rental and ownership housing in Stamford, Danbury and Norwalk.

In 2017, NNI will be celebrating 50 years as Fairfield County's oldest active nonprofit affordable housing developer and manager.
