Reflections On A Perfect Summer Day At Weir Farm National Historic Site

RIDGEFIELD / WILTON, Conn. — As she was hiking around the pond at Weir Farm National Historic Site on a recent summer day, Daily Voice reader Caroline LaFleur paused to take a photo of an interesting seed pod.

When LaFleur looked at the photo later, she discovered an amazing image. 

It might appear as if she was aiming up in the sky. But actually, the photo is of the pond. In an optical illusion of sorts, the dark blue sky and fluffy clouds are perfectly reflected on the surface of the water.
