Cole Valine, age 6; Jackson Deane, age 6; and Joey Sementilli, age 4, decided to make their contributions after learning that a classmate had made a similar donation.

Zoe and Callie Valine; Joeli Deane; and Alina Sementilli, sisters of the donors, also contributed to the donation efforts.

"We love the teamwork," said Grace Linhard, chief development officer of the Western Connecticut Health Network Foundation. "These gifts of toys and games will be greatly enjoyed by the many children who visit Danbury Hospital each year."

All of the donors have been inducted as members of the WCHN Kids Care Club at Danbury Hospital, a philanthropic organization for children and young adults under the age of 18.
