Danbury's Dr. Scott Gray Elected State Orthopaedic Society President

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Dr. F. Scott Gray, a Ridgefield resident and an orthopedic surgeon who has three offices in Fairfield County, recently was elected president of the Connecticut Orthopaedic Society, according to a press release.

Gray is a founding partner of Connecticut Family Orthopedics, which has offices in Bridgeport, Danbury, Ridgefield and Southbury.

A graduate of Washington D.C.’s Georgetown University Medical School, Gray will serve a two-year term as president of the Connecticut Orthopaedic Society.

He also is a member of the Connecticut State Medical Society and Fairfield County Medical Association.

Gray, a foot and ankle surgical specialist at Danbury Hospital, was the first surgeon in western Connecticut to perform a total ankle replacement, according to the press release.

He, along with other partners, opened Danbury’s OrthoPROMPT - the state’s first orthopedic-only urgent care facility.

Gray, the father of six, is married to Deborah Katchko Gray. She is a cantor at Temple Shearith Israel in Ridgefield.
