DANBURY, Conn. -- Join the Danbury Museum and Historical Society in celebrating the second Annual Hat City Day by wearing your favorite hat on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Take a selfie, or a picture of family, students, friends, neighbors and co-workers, and share the photo with the Danbury Museum and Historical Society via social media--Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Use #hatcityday.

The John Dodd Hat Shop at the Danbury Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for anyone who wants to learn more about Danbury's hatting history.

The Museum's new downtown neighbors at 1 Kennedy Flats will give away a free cap to the first 25 folks who visit its office at 331 Main St. on Tuesday. Mention #hatcityday.
