DANBURY, Conn. -- Winter weather made a return to the Fairfield County area on the first day of spring, as snow started around midday Friday and continued into the overnight.
The snow accumulation was enough to make the rush-hour drive home a mess on Friday evening.
With 2 to 5 more inches of snow expected, it didn't feel much like spring, which arrived at 6:45 p.m.
Showers are possible for Saturday, with the sun expected to return Sunday and Monday.
The high temperatures -- only expected to rise from the 30 into the low 40s, won't feel much like spring, either.
