Buses Will Replace Metro-North Trains On Danbury Branch Over Weekend

DANBURY, Conn. -- Metro-North riders on the Danbury Branch need to check their train schedules for any weekend trips, because buses will be replacing trains.

Metro-North riders need to be aware of substitute busing on Saturday and Sunday on the Danbury Branch.

On Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8-9, no trains will run on the Danbury Branch to allow for work to be done on the grade crossing on Norwalk's Perry Avenue.

Bus service will run from the Danbury, Bethel, West Redding, Branchville, Cannondale, Wilton and Merritt 7 stops to South Norwalk. Riders can catch a train in South Norwalk along the New Haven Line.
