DANBURY, Conn. -- Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty (CT-5) will host a regional town hall meeting from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at Rogers Park School, 21 Memorial Drive, Danbury.
The event will provide residents throughout Connecticut’s Fifth Congressional District the opportunity to speak with her in person about the economy, national security or any other issues important to constituents and their families.
“I’m looking forward to hearing directly from folks from across central and northwest Connecticut about the issues that are most important to them,” Esty said. “These discussions are always productive. I’ve taken the concerns folks bring to me at community round tables, in town hall meetings and Congress on Your Corners, and through emails and phone calls to Washington to fight for legislation that will help all our families."
Esty will make brief opening remarks before spending the majority of the time taking audience questions. Even if they are unable to attend in person, constituents are encouraged to visit Esty’s Facebook and Twitter pages and ask her questions on any topic they would like her to address at the town hall meetings. If you plan to attend, you can RSVP at this link.
