Danbury Delegation Will Host Flag Collection

DANBURY, CONN. – State Reps. Jan Giegler (R-138), Dan Carter (R-2), Richard Smith (R-108) and Stephen Harding (R-107) will be hosting a flag collection in cooperation with the Danbury Council of Veterans and Catholic War Veterans Post #1042 for constituents to retire their worn American Flags, in honor of Memorial Day.

The free flag collection will run be May 22 through June 11 at the Danbury City Hall and Danbury War Memorial. Danbury City Hall is at 155 Deer Hill Ave., and the Danbury War Memorial is at 1 Memorial Drive.
